Apple rules the mobile web despite Android's popularity says report

New data released by NetMobileShare this week says that Apple device owners are more likely to browse the web than those that own Android devices. This is in spite of Android's greater market share than iOS in the smartphone market.

Android 4.0 ICS now on 7.1 percent of active devices

Google's Android Developer Hub released updated figures for the platform's distribution this week, and while Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is still gaining share, it is doing so at a rather slow pace. Last month, the latest version of Android was on 4.9 percent of active devices, but now it has climbed up to a 7.1 percent share.

HTC EVO 4G LTE now available from Sprint

After a longer-than-expected wait thanks to some issues with the U.S. Customs departmenti, the HTC EVO 4G LTE is now available for purchase from Sprint. Available online and in stores, the EVO 4G LTE runs $199.99 with a new two-year contract.
