What Windows device to get instead of the HTC One M8 Posted: 23 Aug 2014 03:49 PM PDT We are the first here at MobileBurn to admit that the HTC One M8 has immediately become the best handset on the Windows Phone platform. The Taiwanese company's all metal device sports better specs than any other WP handset and arguably looks better too. Android still fragmented, but is that all bad? Posted: 23 Aug 2014 03:00 PM PDT Apple fan boys in the red corner, Android fan boys in the blue, each looking for particular sticks to beat the other with. One of the Apple fanatics core arguments is that Android is simply too fragmented compared to iOS, and it is an argument that is hard to fight with. Even Google concedes this is the case and Android 4.4 KitKat and the upcoming Android L have been conscience efforts to address this, as well as the upcoming Android One program. LG to bring Android L to G2 in 2015 Posted: 23 Aug 2014 02:17 PM PDT LG may be focused on the G3 flagship of late while plotting a roadmap to capitalize on that smartphones success, but the company is still taking care of its older handsets too. The Korean company has today confirmed that its former flagship, the LG G2, will be getting the upgrade to Android L when Google launches its new version of the mobile platform. HTC Nexus 8 will have Android L Posted: 23 Aug 2014 08:45 AM PDT We have known for some time that HTC is making a tablet, but it has been a long time coming as the so called Volantis seems to have been on the verge of launching for several months.
