Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact shows up on listing Posted: 19 Aug 2014 03:47 PM PDT Sony's Xperia Z2 Tablet won the EISA Tablet of the Year award last week, a decision that may has surprised a few even though the slate is undoubtedly very good. The company has hardly flooded the tablet market in the way Samsung has, nor has it spread its range like LG, but Sony is going to finally release a slate with a small form factor it seems. HTC One M8 Android 4.4.3 delayed on Verizon Posted: 19 Aug 2014 02:44 PM PDT Earlier today T-Mobile announced it would now be rolling out Android 4.4.3 KitKat to the HTC One M8 flagship smartphone. A decent turnaround from the Uncarrier and one that the country's biggest carrier Verizon was going to match, but as it the Big Red way, the update is delayed. Read the full story here. |
Posted: 19 Aug 2014 02:11 PM PDT Sony is hardly known as a trend setter in the smartphone world despite the fact the company does make very good devices. However, Sony was a bit of an innovator for one smartphone feature, waterproofing. HTC One M8 for Windows launched Posted: 19 Aug 2014 10:01 AM PDT As was widely expected, HTC launched its One M8 flagship on the Windows Phone platform today, bringing one of Android's best smartphones to Microsoft's OS. The handset is available today running full Windows Phone 8.1 (Cortana and all), but is restricted to Verizon in the US for $99 on a two year contract and $600 off a plan. Read the full story here. |
ASUS to launch smart watch at IFA Posted: 19 Aug 2014 09:02 AM PDT ASUS is the latest mobile giant to throw its hard into the IFA ring as the Taiwanese company has scheduled a press event for September 3rd. However, while most other companies will be rolling out new smartphones, ASUS will be launching a new smart watch to compete with the likes of LG, Samsung, and of course Motorola. HTC One M8 gets Android 4.4.3 (with 4.4.4 fixes) on T-Mobile Posted: 19 Aug 2014 07:54 AM PDT T-Mobile has today started rolling out Android 4.4.3 to customers on its network using the HTC One M8 smartphone from HTC. On top of getting the full new Android experience users of HTC's flagship handset will also get a bunch of new features and functionality from the Taiwanese company.
