Nokia Lumia 1520 comes to AT&T Nov. 15 for $199 Posted: 06 Nov 2013 07:50 AM PST The Nokia Lumia 1520 will cost $199 on a two-year agreement when it arrives at AT&T next week. Though we're still waiting on an official word from AT&T or Nokia, the Microsoft store already accepts pre-orders for the phone and lists a November 15 release date. The Lumia 1520 will be available in black, white, yellow, and red. Customers can also purchase the phone for $549 off-contract. The phone has a 6-inch 1080p HD display, a 2GB RAM, a 2.2 GHz quad-core processor, and a 20-megapixel PureView camera. Read the full story here. |
Samsung plans 4K smartphones with more pixels than anyone will be able to see or care about Posted: 06 Nov 2013 06:25 AM PST It's been said that the average human eye can barely perceive details beyond 300 pixels per inch (ppi), so mobile device displays that go above that are packing in extra pixels that probably won't be appreciated. It appears that's reason enough for Samsung to make displays with 560 ppi. Read the full story here. |
