Moto X MotoMaker now available for all major carriers

Motorola has made MotoMaker.com, the website that consumers can go to customize the colors of their Moto X smartphone, available to all carriers. MotoMaker has been an AT&T exclusive since it launched in August, but Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile customers can now personalize the colors of their smartphones. The phone costs $99 on a two-year agreement or $499.99 off-contract.

Samsung Tizen phones are still MIA as Samsung details future plans and reveals first device

When Samsung reiterated plans to abandon its Bada OS in favor of developing Tizen with Intel, the company said that it would release multiple Tizen devices by the end of the year. So far only one Tizen has been released, and it isn't the phone we expected.

Samsung hires Siri leader to build SAMI, a connected device network for wearables, cars, and more

Samsung has made an interesting hire for its program to keep several consumer devices communicating with each other. That program has direct involvement from Luc Julia, the former engineer who spearheaded Siri development for a nearly a year before leaving Apple in August of 2012.
