FCC Chairman supports Dish Network plans for wireless network, but under a condition that worries Dish

FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski has announced his support for Dish Network's plan to launch a wireless network, but only if it lowers the power level on spectrum currently held by the satellite provider.

AT&T Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals discount older devices

AT&T has announced the deals that it will offer customers as part of its Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions. On Friday, November 23, AT&T will host a Refurb Blowout Sale that sells refurbished phones for as low as 1-cent when purchased with a two-year agreement. On Saturday and Sunday, the HTC Vivid will go on sale for 1 cent and the Rugby Smart will cost 99 cents. On Monday, AT&T will charge only 99 cents to purchase the Pantech Renue, Motorola Atrix HD, HTC One X (gray), Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket, or Nokia Lumia 900.

AT&T FaceTime over Cellular feature unlocked for more customers, including those with grandfathered data plans

AT&T confirmed earlier this month that it will enable the FaceTime over Cellular video calling feature in Apple iOS 6. Though the company's language appears to exclude users with an unlimited data plan, those same users report that their iPhone can now access FaceTime on HSPA+ or LTE.
