Leap Wireless reports 2009 Q4 earnings, adds record 1.1 million new customers Posted: 26 Feb 2010 05:42 AM PST Leap Wireless today announced its fourth quarter 2009 earnings. The carrier's service revenues in the fourth quarter were up 19.3 percent over the year quarter to $547 million. It gained 298,000 net customer additions in the fourth quarter and a record 1.1 million in the year. The carrier now has 4.95 million end-of-period customers, a 29 percent increase from its 2008 3.84 million customer base. Read the full story here. |
MetroPCS reports 2009 Q4 earnings, 1.3 million net subscriber additions Posted: 26 Feb 2010 05:28 AM PST Today MetroPCS announced its fourth quarter 2009 earnings. The carrier saw a core market subscriber growth of 11 percent during the year and added 1.3 million net additions in 2009 for a total of 6.6 million subscribers. MetroPCS is planning an initial launch of its 4G long-term evolution (LTE) network in the second half of 2010. Read the full story here. |
