RIM to launch new WebKit browser this year Posted: 16 Feb 2010 07:29 AM PST BlackBerry maker Research in Motion (RIM) plans to update it's fairly bland Web browser with a new WebKit one this year, Business Week reported this morning. RIM posted a video of the new Web browser on YouTube today that details a cleaner user interface and a much more robust user experience. The new browser will support HTML5, CSS3, and DOM L3 as well as Javascript and AJAX pages. RIM also said it will support BlackBerry Widgets and JIL Widgets. WebKit browsers are used on the iPhone as well as Symbian S60 and Android devices. Read the full story here. |

T-Mobile USA HD2 to include multimedia content from Blockbuster, eReader from Barnes & Noble Posted: 16 Feb 2010 05:22 AM PST T-Mobile USA announced that it would carry the HD2 back during CES. Today the carrier said that the HD2 will now ship with BLOCKBUSTER on Demand for downloading new movies, MobiTV for watching live on-demand TV, a Barnes & Noble eReader for viewing books and magazines, and up to six months of free in-flight Wi-Fi through Gogo. The device will also ship with two movies: "Transformers" and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" preloaded. Read the full story here. |
