| Sprint offering free femtocell to customers with coverage issues Posted: 21 Aug 2010 11:08 AM PDT According to a Sprint representative, Sprint has started issuing free 3G voice and data capable Airave femtocells to customers that have "specific in-building coverage issues." Femtocells act as mini cell towers that connect cell phones to the carrier's network over the user's broadband internet connection.
