iPad Pro Launching November 13th

We are still awaiting an official announcement from Apple regarding the launch date of the iPad Pro, the tablet that was unveiled two months ago. While Cupertino is staying quiet, Sam's Club has opened its doors for pre-orders of the slate, saying that it will launch on November 13th. That is still not an official date, but the retailer seems to have let the proverbial cat out of the bag.

Ah the good old flip phone, the form factor that refuses to go away. It still amazes us how these handsets have a market in Asia from companies like Samsung and LG. The former Korean giant has just had its latest flip phone passed through TENAA in China, the Samsung Galaxy Golden 3.

Samsung Galaxy View Launches in U.S.

It is hard to see where Samsung's huge 18.4-inch Galaxy View tablet is going to fit into the market. It is not a true PC or laptop competitor because Android lacks the overall functionality of a full PC OS like Windows. It may also be a tough sell as a tablet, simply too large to carry around while we guess some games and apps won?t refit to the size. We will know soon enough when we get our hands on the View, it has rolled out in the United States today.

Xiaomi has unveiled a new updated version of its Redmi 2A smartphone, making the huge selling device a boost for 2015. The regular Redmi 2A has been a monster hit for the Chinese company, selling over 10 million units worldwide, and becoming one of Xiaomi's best-selling smartphones.

LG Class Lands in Europe as LG Hero

The LG Class is a handset we like, but also see it as a tough sell. It was LG's first foray into metal build materials and it is undoubtedly a looker, but its specs and more importantly price left us with doubts. Either way, the smart LG Class is now landing in Europe, where it was be known as the LG Zero.

HTC One X9, the Hero Device we Deserve?

We have been pretty critical about HTC on these pages regarding two things, the company bombarding the market with high end smartphones, and the One A9 that was billed as a flagship but simply isn't one. It is an interesting position the company is in, not wanting to flood the market further, but also knowing that the A9 is simply not a competitor against similarly priced handsets.
