Samsung Russia Offering Big Money off its Flagships for iPhone Trade in

Samsung is going after Apple in Russia by offering a deal that makes it more affordable to get the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+. The Korean giant says that a trade in of the Apple iPhone 5 of iPhone 5s (both older devices) will get you a certificate that slashes the price of its two latest flagships.

Microsoft does not have much of a presence in India, although some of the company's budget Lumia's are doing ok on the sub-continent. The company wants more than ok though and with the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL flagships there is a chance to crack the largest emerging market on the planet. Those handsets (packing Windows 10 Mobile) have now been confirmed to be launching in India during December.

HTC One M8 Google Play Edition Receiving Android 6.0 Now

Google has got into a tangle with some of its Nexus customer thanks to a tweet the company sent out last night. The social media excerpt in question saw the company say that Nexus orders are being fulfilled in the order in which they were received. Nothing wrong with that you may think, but many customers took to twitter to say that the statement was simply untrue.

Chinese brands are usually where it's at if you want bang for your buck, with handsets from the country usually well spec'd and well made, even if there are usually compromises along the way.
