HTC One M8 getting Sense Update Now (Preparing for Lollipop) Posted: 28 Jan 2015 01:16 PM PST HTC is almost certainly readying Android Lollipop 5.0 for its HTC One M8 flagship, the company said the update would come by the end of this month. The first move towards that is now happening as the Taiwanese company is updating its own Sense UI to a Lollipop ready version, with its international One M8 getting the patch now. Russian Galaxy Note 3 Getting Android 5.0 Now Posted: 28 Jan 2015 11:38 AM PST Most of Samsung's handsets are still waiting on the update to Android 5.0 Lollipop, including the company's latest Galaxy Note 4 flagship. Ironically the older Galaxy Note 3 looks like it will beat its newer sibling to the punch, with SamMobile reporting that the Russian version of the handsets (SM-N900) is now receiving the bump to Android 5.0. Samsung Z1 Sells 50,000 Units in 10 Days Posted: 28 Jan 2015 07:27 AM PST Samsung launched the Z1, the company's first ever Tizen based smartphone, earlier this month and there are some contrasting reports about how it's doing. Just last week, Reuters said that the handset was struggling to find its feet in India, where it is exclusively available at the moment.
