Samsung Launches Tizen Running Z1 Posted: 14 Jan 2015 02:16 PM PST Samsung first Tizen based smartphone has walked a long and bumpy road to release, but today the Korean company officially launched the Samsung Z1. This is of course the first ever handset to run Samsung?s own Tizen operating system, a first in what will likely be many handsets over the next few years that pull the company further away from Google's Android. Motorola Smartphone through FCC (New Moto E?) Posted: 14 Jan 2015 07:24 AM PST While Chinese regulatory body TENAA has been leaking smartphones in a steady stream, things have been more barren over at American counterpart, the FCC. However, a new Motorola device paid a visit to the certifying body and made its presence felt yesterday. Are 939 Million Android Devices Vulnerable to Attack? Posted: 14 Jan 2015 07:24 AM PST A security analyst with Rapid7 named Tod Beardsly revealed that older versions of Android (those running builds before Android 4.4 KitKat) have a serious security flaw. However, while big markets await that killer flagship, Redmond is continuing to dabble in the entry level, a price bracket that has admittedly served Windows Phone better than others.
