The device is the Chinese company's latest mid-range effort, a market the giant has lost ground on in its home market due to the rise and surge of Xiaomi devices. The images reveal a classic Chinese design, but as this is Huawei it sparks with a touch of quality too and is certainly not an ugly handset. Read the full story here. |

The company's next smartphone flagship is probably a few months from launch but the early working prototypes are showing up on benchmarks, with the second occurrence of this yesterday. T-Mobile Intros New Simple Choice Unlimited Family Plan Posted: 10 Dec 2014 06:40 AM PST T-Mobile is continuing to go to war with other carriers with aggressive pricing and plans, the latest of which is the Simple Choice family plan. The company found that 40% of customers are worried about going over their monthly data, so the Uncarrier created this plan that gives two lines unlimited data per month for $100. Vivo X5 Max, New Thinnest Smartphone Ever Posted: 10 Dec 2014 05:57 AM PST The Oppo R5 was launched last month as the worlds thinnest ever smartphone, but I wrote at the time that the title would probably be short lived. And so it has proved as we now have a new device that will carry the accolade as the thinnest smartphone on the market.
