It's hard to believe that Xiaomi is only four years old. Founded in 2010 the Chinese company has risen to prominence in a short time and is now the third biggest smartphone manufacturer in the world. The brand has passed industry giants such as Sony, HTC, LG, Lenovo, Motorola, and Huawei and now sits behind Apple and of course Samsung. However, Xiaomi?s has not finished just yet and has its crosshairs firmly pointed at top spot.

What is not up for debate is that Apple is one of the leading companies in smartphone camera technology with its iSight shooter.

Microsoft Says 50 Million Lumia Handsets Activated

Microsoft was speaking in Germany and had plenty to say about Windows Phone and its newly acquired line of Lumia devices. The giant claimed that 50 million Lumia devices have now been activated, but of course most of those sales are thanks to Nokia and not Microsoft, with Redmond only buying the Finnish company's phone business this year.

Jolla has decided to turn its hand to tablets as the company has confirmed that it wants to build a slate that will have some good specs and come with an enticing price tag. NAND Memory Causing Random iPhone 6 Shutdowns

A monster seller and worldwide record crusher the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus may be, but the devices have not been without their fair share of problems, and it seems that have another. Some owners of the handsets with storage capacity of 64GB or 128GB are complaining that random crashes and reboots are occurring when the device is housing a large amount of apps. The issue is also being reported by iPad users with the same internal storage configuration.
