HTC has already confirmed that it is showing its flagship range some Android 5.0 Lollipop love, announcing that the One M7 and the newer One M8 flagships will be getting Google's latest and greatest within 90 days. The clock is ticking on that deadline, but HTC makes a load of other smartphones besides those metal clad high enders, what about them getting a lick of the Lollipop?

Motorola testing Android 5.0 for Moto X

Since Motorola is now under Lenovo's wing there has been those who wondered if the company would continue to update to the latest Android versions quickly. The fact that the American brand builds Google's Android 5.0 Lollipop packing Nexus 6 gave us a good hint that the company would continue to be an Android flag waver. So it has proved as the company is now sending the Android 5.0 soak test for the Moto X (2014) Pure Edition.

Android 5.0 coming to LG G3 this week

LG is jumping on the Android 5.0 Lollipop bandwagon in double time as the company has revealed that its G3 smartphone flagship will be getting this week. The Korean company says that the over the air update will start being issued this week, starting in... Poland. LG said that more important markets will follow in the near future (thought to be this month) and that it will also offer details of other handsets getting Android 5.0 soon.
