Facebook Home compatible with only half of Android users

Facebook Home, Facebook's new "Family of apps" that injects itself into Android devices, will support only six phones when it officially debuts on April 12. Home will be preloaded on the HTC First and compatible with the HTC One and One X, Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4, and Galaxy Note II. Facebook says that it plans to support more devices later, but only Android 4.0 or later devices can access it. Based on Google's recent stats about Android 4.0, 4.1, and 4.2, only 54 percent of users will be able to access the app..

The Facebook Phone is real, and it's name is the HTC First. Moments after it announced Facebook Home, a new Android home screen and lock screen that better integrates Android with Facebook, HTC and AT&T announced they will be the first to release a phone pre-loaded with the software.

BBM Music shutting down June 2, Rdio trial vouchers given as replacement

BlackBerry Music arrived in 2011 as a way for BlackBerry to offer its customers a new option to stream and share music on their smartphones, but the premium music subscription is going to shutdown later this summer.
