Moto G Google Play Edition Receiving Android 5.1 Lollipop Now Posted: 02 Apr 2015 02:22 PM PDT Android 5.0 Lollipop is now making its presence felt on a lot of devices and is continuing to spread its wings. For handsets a little tighter to Google's influence the march is already on to get Android 5.1, with the build already landing on some Nexus device, which are Google's own products of course. Sony Lowers Sales Estimates but Stays Ambitious Posted: 02 Apr 2015 02:03 PM PDT Sony has had to contend with declining smartphone sales, continued money losing, and even claims that the company is ready to sell off its Xperia division. However, Sony has vehemently denied that it will offload its smartphone division and in fact the company is setting ambitious targets for this year, which is not a bad thing considering the Japanese giant makes good devices that look good and are well spec'd. Sony Confirms Android 5.0 Lollipop for Xperia Z Posted: 02 Apr 2015 01:48 PM PDT Sony has been slow getting Android 5.0 Lollipop to its devices, but the company has announced the update for the Xperia Z3 and Zperia Z2 range recently. The Japanese giant also revealed that the Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra are also in line for the upgrade, but what about the older Xperia Z? The company certainly did not disappoint as it raised the curtain on the Redmi 2A, a lesser variant of the Redmi 2 that was announced recently. Motorola Announces Moto Selfie Stick Posted: 02 Apr 2015 08:01 AM PDT Selfie Sticks may be getting banned from some places and they may be completely ridiculous for those who do not turn their phone camera on themselves twenty times per day. That has not stopped Motorola launching its own such product, aptly named the Moto Selfie Stick, and the American company is attempting to bring a touch of class to the device.
