Samsung Galaxy S4 on Sprint updated Android 4.3

The Sprint variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is presently being updated to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Like the update delivered to Verizon customers, this installs several behind the scene enhancements. KNOX enterprise security, and compatibility with the Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch. The phone is also made compatible with the ZACT Mobile flexible pay service. Users can search for an update by going to Settings > More > System Update > Update Samsung Software.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 reaches 5 million channel sales in one month

The original Samsung Galaxy Note took five months to reach 5 million shipments to retailers. The Galaxy Note II reached the same milestone in less than half that amount of time, and the Galaxy Note 3 has continued the trend of besting its predecessor in half the time.

Sprint lost 360,000 customers and sold 5 million smartphones in Q3 2013

Sprint, the third-largest carrier in the United States, released its earnings for the third quarter of 2013. The Now Network reported that it lost thousands of customers and millions of dollars thanks to a challenging period in which it shutdown networks and acquired new bandwidth.
