Apple sold 33.8 million iPhones and 14.1 million iPads in Q4 2013

Apple today released its earnings report for the fourth quarter of its fiscal year 2013. For the three months ending on September 28, Apple sold more iPhones than it ever has, and increased its sales totals for the iPad compared to the previous year.

MotoMaker Moto X now just $479.99 off-contract

Motorola last week cut $100 from the price of its Moto X smartphone at three carriers, and orders placed online at its MotoMaker customization site also dropped to just $99 on contract. Motorola originally didn't drop the price on the off-contract price, but that has changed. Customers can now visit MotoMaker.com and place an order that lowers the off-contract price to just $479.99. The website is still limited to AT&T model phones, but customers can pay full price to avoid having to alter or renew their existing AT&T contract.

LG G Flex made official as the first "REAL" curved phone with self-healing coating

LG had no problem letting the world know that it doesn't think much of the Samsung Galaxy Round, a curved phone made by its chief rival. Announcing its new G Flex Android phone, LG laid claim to the title of first "real" curved phone.
