Motorola makes it official: Moto X launch event will be August 1 Posted: 19 Jul 2013 01:30 PM PDT The rumors, whispers, and speculation about the Motorola X will soon stop as Motorola has confirmed that it will debut the Moto X on August 1. MobileBurn and several other outlets have received invites to attend an event at which the Moto X will debut. We've just sent in our RSVP and will be eagerly awaiting the arrival of the heavily hyped Android phone, though the biggest features of the Moto X appear to have already been leaked.
