Sprint coverage will improve later this year with tri-band 4G LTE

Sprint's coverage has been disappointing in many places as the nation's third-largest carrier has been slow to enter the 4G LTE generation. Sprint today announced it will soon release tri-band 4G LTE modems, and smartphones will benefit from better coverage later this year.
