Foursquare adds new maps for Android tablets and large phones

Foursquare has finally recognized that tablets exist and decided to do something about it. Foursquare for Android has been updated to improve its map displays on tablets and smartphones with large screens. The app now shows a dual-panel display with a map on one side and listings on the other, removing the need to navigate back and forth between two pages. The new map view is available on tablets or smartphones held in landscape. Foursquare has also fixed a number of unnamed bugs, improved connectivity to Twitter, and made small adjustments to the Explore section. Download Foursquare for Android
