T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521 launches May 22 for $29.99 down Posted: 09 May 2013 09:23 AM PDT T-Mobile has announced when its retail stores and website will begin selling the Nokia Lumia 521. The previously announced Windows Phone 8-powered Lumia 521 will be sold at Microsoft stores for $149 and Walmart for $129.88 beginning May 11. It will not hit T-Mobile's official channels until May 22 when the phone goes on sale for $29.99 down and $5 for 24 months when purchased on an installment plan. Huawei Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 device coming to Walmart later this month Posted: 09 May 2013 07:03 AM PDT The Huawei Ascend W1 first appeared at CES in January, but the Windows Phone 8 smartphone has largely gone unnoticed in the United States. Huawei today announced that the phone will debut at Walmart later this month as the Huawei W1. With a 4-inch LCD screen, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a 5 megapixel camera, and 512MB of RAM, the W1 meets the standard of Windows Phones released in 2012. The phone also has a 1,950 mAh battery with built-in technology designed to extend battery life. Details about price and exact dates have yet to be shared, Huawei will have more information soon.
