WatchESPN arrives for AT&T U-verse customers Posted: 25 Mar 2013 11:45 AM PDT ESPN's WatchESPN app for streaming live video for select cable television subscribers has been updated to open access to AT&T U-verse customers. The Android and Apple iOS apps have made it possible to view live broadcasts of ESPN's sports programming, but only for customers who subscribe to a handful of cable companies. AT&T joins the list of compatible providers, which also includes Bright House, Charter, Comcast, Cox, Midcontinent, Optimum, Time Warner, and Verizon FiOS. UK iPhone version of Facebook Messenger gets free voice calling Posted: 25 Mar 2013 05:25 AM PDT Facebook has expanded the reach of the Wi-Fi calling feature built into its Facebook Messenger app for Apple iOS. Previously available in the U.S. and Canada, Facebook Messenger is now available to U.K. residents who wish to make free voice calls to other Facebook members. The app also supports leaving voice messages that can be accessed later when the user is online.
