Samsung Galaxy S 4 U.S. Cellular pre-orders start April 16

U.S. Cellular has announced that it will begin accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 on April 16. Following the lead of AT&T, which also confirmed April 16 as the start of its pre-order process, U.S. Cellular will let customers reserve the Galaxy S 4 in mid April. Price and general availability have not yet been announced, but customers can visit the U.S. Cellular Samsung Galaxy S 4 pre-order page to sign-up to receive more information.

Sprint agrees not to use Huawei equipment to gain SoftBank merger approval

Samsung Epic 4G Touch gains Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Sprint is starting to deliver Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to its variant of the Samsung Galaxy II, better known as the Samsung Epic 4G Touch. The update is "too big" to be delivered over the air, so users will have to install the upgrade by connecting to a Windows 7, Vista, or XP computer. Windows 8 or Mac OS X users will have to visit a Sprint store and request to have the phone updated by employees. Be sure to backup all of your data and charge the phone's battery before heading to the store.

AT&T has announced that it will begin accepting orders for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 beginning April 16. AT&T did not reveal the start of general availability or delivery dates of pre-orders, but it did confirm that the Galaxy S 4 will cost $249.99 when purchased with a two-year agreement. The announcement follows T-Mobile's statement earlier this week that it will offer the Galaxy S 4 for $99 beginning May 1.
