| Microsoft CEO Admits Poor Windows Flagship Output Posted: 22 Jul 2015 08:22 AM PDT  I have been saying on these pages for some time that Microsoft's lack of flagship devices on the Windows Phone platform is hurting the company. There are an array of very good (some of the best in fact) budget smartphones on the platform, but in terms of high end handsets there is scant choice. Even the Lumia 930, Lumia 1520, and HTC One M8 are aging and not current flagships, and the lack of high end quality has now been acknowledged by Microsoft's CEO. Read the full story here. |
| Apple Watch Exceeded Expectations Says Tim Cook Posted: 22 Jul 2015 08:08 AM PDT  Apple did not reveal exact figures for the Apple Watch for its first quarter on sale, lumping it into the "other" category in its earnings call. However, considering that category rose some 49% year-on-year it seems that the company?s first wearable played a big part in that hike. There have been plenty leaks regarding the specs of the handset, but today we can see a first official confirmation of the hardware OnePlus will use.
