Apple iPhone Sales Beat Wall Street, iPad Struggles Again

Apple today released sales and financial figures for its fiscal third quarter and the news is good for the iPhone and Apple Watch, but continues to be very worrying for the iPad. The company bested Wall Street expectations, but only just, and after a number of periods of decimating analyst predictions there was a backlash. Apple's shares tumbled after the earnings call, but the raw figures remain impressive.

OnePlus is not the only smartphone company looking to make it big thanks to crowdfunding as a startup company. The OnePlus One has been successful for sure, but there is a new startup in town, Ubik, a startup company now seeking funding for its first smartphone.

AT&T Suspends Moto X Android Lollipop Update

Motorola's original Moto X flagship caused the company plenty of problems in the update process to Android Lollipop, making it among the last major Moto handsets to get the upgrade. Now the Android 5.1 software has been released it seems the Moto X is not being any less problematic as AT&T has been forced to suspend its scheduled update.
