| OnePlus One Mini Due in 2015? Posted: 16 Dec 2014 02:05 PM PST  OnePlus is reported to be working on the follow up to its OnePlus One smartphone, the so-called OnePlus Two. However, the Chinese company has another new handset in the works it seems as OnePlus starts to spread its wings with an apparent OnePlus One Mini. | Asus Sends Invite for Pre-CES ZenFone Launch Posted: 16 Dec 2014 11:22 AM PST  Not much usually happens in the way of smartphones at the CES trade show in Las Vegas. The early January event is typically a computing/consumer electronics oriented show and many of the mobile big hitters are either absent or pushing other products. Some reports suggest Sony and Samsung will be launching flagships there in 2015, but I do not believe that, and besides there are always some smartphones if you look hard enough. | HTC Confirms Android 5.0 for One M8 and M7 Starting January 3rd Posted: 16 Dec 2014 09:26 AM PST  HTC announced way back at Google's I/O event (when Android 5.0 was first announced) that it would update its One M8 and One M7 smartphones to the new platform within 90 days of its release. | Here's Another Doomsday Prediction for Blackberry Posted: 16 Dec 2014 08:35 AM PST  We are used to doomsday scenarios being discussed about Blackberry, yet the company keeps on chugging along and surviving. Sure, there were times when things were touch and go for the company formerly known as RIM, but according to executives and the last financial reports, Blackberry is moving in the right direction. | Sony SmartWatch 3 Receiving Android Wear 5.0 Now Posted: 16 Dec 2014 08:15 AM PST  It is not only smartphones and tablets that are starting to get a lick of Android 5.0 Lollipop as wearables are also getting in on the action too. The 5.0 update for Google's Android Wear smartwatch platform has now started doing the rounds and Motorola's Moto 360 is getting the bump today. | Apple Watch to Drive Wearable Sales in Canada Posted: 16 Dec 2014 06:44 AM PST  IDC is one of the most prominent market researchers and the organization has turned its attention to the Canadian market and is looking forward to 2015. While Canada is not necessarily a hot bed for tech activity, the data for the country seems to point to a similar worldwide trend that will happen in the coming 12 months. | Samsung Pulls Plug on Galaxy U Series Posted: 16 Dec 2014 06:13 AM PST  Samsung makes so many devices and has so many smartphone ranges that it is hard to keep up. Take for example the Galaxy U line of handsets, another new series that has been in development alongside the A series, E series, as well as an overhaul of the S range.
