AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile clash on FCC rules for upcoming spectrum auction

When the FCC hosts an auction for spectrum voluntary given up by broadcasters to sell to wireless network operators, AT&T and Verizon will not be able to acquire as much spectrum as T-Mobile and Sprint. That doesn't sit well with the nation's two largest carriers.

Samsung may have outed the Galaxy S5 DX (mini) on its own website

Now that the Samsung Galaxy S5 has officially been released, Samsung can get to work on the mini version of the device, which may have been unintentionally leaked early by its own website. Someone appears to have found a page on Samsung's website that reveals a Galaxy S5 DX branding that could be the name of the upcoming S5 mini. The image shows a few renders of the phone in white, blue, gold, yellow, black, silver, and gray. It also shows the new Gear accessories, meaning it's likely compatible with the device. Price and release clues are not available yet.

Huawei Ascend P7 debuts with 5-inch 1080p HD and 8 MP front camera

Huawei today announced its new hallmark smartphone, the Ascend P7, that ups the ante for a few features seen in Android smartphones. That includes a front camera capable of taking photos as large as the back camera in most states.
