Android users have long relied on apps like Find My Droid and Lookout Mobile Security to locate their lost or stolen phones. Phone tracking will soon be a native feature of Android with the release of a new Android Device Manager service from Google.

The Samsung Galaxy Note III is expected to be announced at the IFA trade show in Berlin, the same place where the first two Android smartphone-meets-tablet devices were unveiled. According to new reports, the Note III won't be the only Android product that Samsung debuts at IFA.
