Apple Maps will get another boost for transit directions courtesy of Embark

Apple has quietly been scooping mapping services in order to improve its iOS Maps, which has been dogged since its debut and improved over time, and the company has apparently added another firm to its portfolio. Apple has acquired Embark, a small company that developed iPhone and Android apps that offer public transit guides in large cities.

My Moto X has arrived. And when I saw "My," I mean it because the phone was designed by me. I built a device using the Moto Maker website and it's beautiful. My Moto X is also designed in a way that made me momentarily hate it.

Windows Phone 8 powers yet another Nokia commercial attacking Android and iOS and Delta in-flight purchases

Microsoft has made a couple of interesting announcements today. In addition to supporting a new deal to use Windows Phone 8 handsets for payments on Delta Air Lines flights, the company revealed a new ad promoting the Nokia Lumia 1020 at the expense of Apple iPhones and Samsung Galaxy Android devices.
