| Apple Maps will get another boost for transit directions courtesy of Embark Posted: 22 Aug 2013 01:40 PM PDT  Apple has quietly been scooping mapping services in order to improve its iOS Maps, which has been dogged since its debut and improved over time, and the company has apparently added another firm to its portfolio.
