T-Mobile switching to Value Plans and phasing out subsidies

T-Mobile USA will end its longstanding practice of subsidizing smartphones for customers who sign-up for a two-year agreement. Instead the carrier will switch to Value plans that lower the monthly costs customers pay each month.

Snapseed for Android launching today, iOS version now free

When Google acquired Nik Software in September to improve photo editing on Google+, it appeared that an Android version of Nik's Snapseed would be just around the corner. As expected, Snapseed for Android is being released today, and like the Apple iOS version of the app, it will be free.
