LG President Confirms Second Flagship this Year Posted: 23 Jul 2015 07:37 AM PDT LG has already said that it will launch a second flagship standard smartphone this year following the launch of the G4. That handset will differentiate itself by being a professional oriented flagship that will either be called the G4 Pro or the G Pro 3. The South Korean company (which was subject of a Google buyout rumor this week) has no reconfirmed that a premium device is indeed imminent. Read the full story here. |
Huawei Mate 7 Plus coming to IFA, not Mate 8 Posted: 23 Jul 2015 06:48 AM PDT Huawei has a new smartphone ready to launch at its scheduled September 2nd event at the IFA trade show in Berlin, but the handset getting announced is unlikely to be the Mate 8. When the press event was first teased it was thought that the Mate 8 would be the subject of the launch, but it now seems a revamped version of the current Mate 7 will be launched instead.
