Netflix launching in six new European countries this year

Netflix has revealed its plan to expand farther into Europe this year. Though the company did not reveal dates or library options, it did confirm that the following six countries will launch with Netflix streaming later this year: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Prices will likely vary by market, as will the selection of streaming services, but consumers in the affected regions will finally be able to legally watch Netflix originals and pay a monthly subscription fee to get thousands of movies and television shows streamed to the web, Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Chromecast, and various other set top boxes.

Oppo is expected to launch an N1 Mini soon, and photos of the device may have just appeared on the FCC today under a listing for the Oppo N5116. This might be the "mini" N1, and I use the term loosely.

Rdio launches in 9 more countries, raising total to 60

Music streaming service Rdio is now serving 60 countries worldwide. The on-demand and personal radio service today launched in Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Thailand. The price varies in each country depending on the market, but all of the new countries are able to sign-up for an Rdio monthly subscription plan that provides access to several million songs on apps for Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry.
