Samsung Galaxy S4 on Sprint updated Android 4.3

The Sprint variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is presently being updated to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Like the update delivered to Verizon customers, this installs several behind the scene enhancements. KNOX enterprise security, and compatibility with the Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch. The phone is also made compatible with the ZACT Mobile flexible pay service. Users can search for an update by going to Settings > More > System Update > Update Samsung Software.

Apple sold 33.8 million iPhones and 14.1 million iPads in Q4 2013

MotoMaker Moto X now just $479.99 off-contract

Motorola last week cut $100 from the price of its Moto X smartphone at three carriers, and orders placed online at its MotoMaker customization site also dropped to just $99 on contract. Motorola originally didn't drop the price on the off-contract price, but that has changed. Customers can now visit MotoMaker.com and place an order that lowers the off-contract price to just $479.99. The website is still limited to AT&T model phones, but customers can pay full price to avoid having to alter or renew their existing AT&T contract.
