Apple invites tech world to see the new iPhone on September 10 Posted: 03 Sep 2013 06:12 AM PDT Apple will unveil its latest iPhone and iOS software at a press event in San Francisco next week. Apple today began sending invites to websites to inform them that the rumored September 10 announcement of the new iPhone will take place next Tuesday beginning at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Apple is expected to announce more features of its iOS 7 software and debut two phones: an upgraded iPhone 5S and a lower-cost plastic iPhone 5C. LG G2 launching in U.S. and Germany this month Posted: 03 Sep 2013 05:37 AM PDT LG has confirmed that the LG G2 global launch will start in two big markets in North America and Europe this month. That's about all the company said because it still hasn't provided any details about pricing or carriers; all we can definitively say is that the G2 will launch in the United States and Germany in September. In the U.S., individual carriers will likely be the place to learn when and where to purchase the G2. LG has already confirmed that all four of the major carriers will offer the G2, so we just have to wait on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile to solidify the details. Read the full story here. |
