Video: Google Goggles visual search video demo

Here's a demo of Google Goggles running on a Motorola DROID. The app allows users to take photos of things and, in theory, get pertinent search results back. My experience was less than smooth, though.

The Samsung SPH-i350 Intrepid for Sprint is the first bar shaped Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone to hit the U.S. market. It features a full QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen display in a compact, and globally roaming, form factor. Brian takes it around town for a test in this full review, with video.

Report: 2 million global WiMAX subscribers by January is slow start

A new report by ABI Research says that WiMAX will see its subscriber base grow to 2 million global users in January. The report is mostly bleak, save for a few 4G networks doing well, including Clearwire.

Nokia has launched the 2710 Navigation Edition, the manufacturer's most affordable navigation-oriented phone to date. The phone features a 2.2-inch display, GPS, a digital compass, and a lifetime map license.
