LG G Watch R rolling out October 14th

LG's G Watch R caused quite a stir when it was first unveiled. This was a smartwatch that also had a round face, a competitor to Motorola's impressive Moto 360 perhaps and possibly the best smartwatch ever made. However, the reality was somewhat different as the G Watch R is a little bit of a compromise; good looking yes, but certainly not the definitive smartwatch release.

iPad Pro to combine iOS and Mac OS X

A day ago I wrote that news surrounding the oft rumoured iPad Pro was pretty thin on the ground, but ironically today a batch of info arrived courtesy of Digitimes. According to the report, Apple is working on not just one, but two iPad Pro devices and one of them will run both iOS and Mac OS X.

Apple to sell 200 million iPhone 6 units in 2015?

Apple?s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have been selling well. Actually, that's an understatement as they have been breaking records and are set to go through the roof again when launched in China and India later this month. However, how well Apple's flagship device does through a launch period is only part of the story as the iPhone has always had fantastic staying power. The iPhone 6 could take that to another level.

HTC teases One M8 EYE variant

HTC has two EYEs on the smartphone world at the moment, a Desire EYE and a One M8 EYE. Both of these handsets are tipped to be launched tomorrow, but it is more likely the M8 EYE will land first and the Desire EYE will launch later in the month. HTC has today teased the One M8 EYE with the above shot that reminds us of the launch date.

Samsung says profits to fall by 60% in Q3... future looking bleak

Samsung has had a poor 2014 and things are not looking very good for the foreseeable future either after the Korean giant confirmed that it will lose money again through the third quarter. The company has said that third quarter profits will sink below analyst predictions and will slide year on year for the second consecutive period.
