It's amazing how much a product can change in a generation or two. What's even more amazing is that despite differences in feeling between the iPad Air and previous generations, very little separates the the latest iOS tablet from its predecessors. For many people, that may be a good thing.

Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II Android 4.3 update adds HD voice and Galaxy Gear compatibility

Sprint is now pushing out an update for the Samsung Galaxy Note II that brings the device up to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The update also adds compatibility with the Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch, KNOX security, and enhancements to improve the call quality when using HD Voice in areas where the superior calling option is available. The update is rolling out in stages now, but Galaxy Note II owners can check for the update by going to Settings > System Update > Update Samsung Software

For the past few days, the battery of my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has drained at an inexplicable rate. There's no confirmation of Google Play Services being negatively affecting battery life, but there's reason to believe the source of the problem.

Verizon HTC One Max price revealed to be $299

Verizon has launched a new store focused on connecting various forms of technology at the Mall of America in Minnesota. At the launch event, a video station prematurely revealed the pricing information of the HTC One Max: $299 on a two-year agreement or $24.99 on a monthly Verizon Edge plan. Verizon has yet to announce a release date for the Edge, but it should be shared any day now. The carrier previously said it planned to have the One Max ready for the "Holiday season," and the biggest shopping day of the year is next Friday.
