Verizon: Use your Motorola Droid or HTC Imagio as a FiOS TV remote

Verizon said today that Motorola DROID and HTC Imagio owners can control their FiOS set-top boxes with their phones beginning today. Future device support is expected in the future, too.

Verizon Wireless tops J.D. Power and Associates 2010 Wireless Call Quality Ratings list

J.D. Power and Associates released its 2010 Wireless Call Quality Ratings List Volume 1 today. Verizon Wireless notched the top spot in 5 out of 6 U.S. regions, while U.S. Cellular had the best call quality in one region.

Kindle for BlackBerry now available

Today Amazon announced its new Kindle for BlackBerry application. The free app allows BlackBerry owners access to over 420,000 books on their phone, most of which cost $9.99 or less. Kindle owners will also be able to read titles they've purchased in the past. You can download the application by visiting amazon.com/kindlebb on your BlackBerry.
