| Firefox Mobile for Android possible by end of year says Mozilla VP Posted: 17 Feb 2010 09:14 AM PST In an interview today, Mozilla's vice president of mobile, Jay Sullivan, said that Firefox Mobil browser for Android could happen by the end of this year. "It's a modern OS, and it's a great fit with us. It's the type of platform that has a high affinity with the early adopter, and it's seen a lot of uptake," Sullivan told Tech Radar, noting that part of the delay has been because Firefox Mobile is built on C and C++ code, but that the Open Handset Alliance's new Native Development Kit makes it easier to port Firefox Mobile. | Telefonica O2 to sell HTC Smart in Germany, Ireland, and the U.K. Posted: 17 Feb 2010 06:41 AM PST HTC and Telefonica today announced that HTC's new BREW MP powered Smart, a pseudo-smartphone, will be sold through O2 in Germany, Ireland, and in the United Kingdom.
