HTC Denies ASUS Buyout Claim

HTC has wasted no time in shooting down rumors that it is talk to merge with fellow Taiwanese company ASUS. The funny thing about the whole story is that the initial report came straight from ASUS, with the company's chairman Johnny Shih saying that he is not ruling out the possibility of his company purchasing troubled HTC at some point.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is still arguably the best camera experience you can have on a smartphone, despite the fact the device is two years old. Built by Nokia, the follow up will be made by Microsoft after it bought the Finnish company's devices and services division. It now seems as though the follow up is close to being launched.

LG G3 Skipping Android 5.1 and Moving Straight to Android M

If you had the LG G3 from launch, you may remember that the handset did not move past Android 4.4.2 KitKat while other rival flagships went to 4.4.3 or 4.4.4. Instead the G3 waited over six months before making the jump straight to Android Lollipop, and it seems LG will be doing the same with the handset this year.

T-Mobile Updates Galaxy S6 to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

T-Mobile has fulfilled its promise and has started sending out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones. Samsung revealed that the software would be coming to its new flagship in June and it seems T-Mobile is the first U.S. carrier to confirm the upgrade.
