Tablet Sales Decline Again, Cellular Slates Increase Posted: 15 May 2015 04:38 AM PDT Apple's iPad sales have been tumbling for many quarters, but the company's CEO Tim Cook has said he is not worried as they knew this would happen. He said consumer cycles for tablets are different than smartphones, and also said the iPad would recover. Huawei Schedules United States Media Event for June 2 Posted: 14 May 2015 12:57 PM PDT Chinese megabrand Huawei has scheduled a media event that will be held in New York City on June 2nd. While it is unclear what device/s the company will be launching at the event, it is being widely speculated that the P8 flagship will be confirmed for a release in the United States. ASUS Lowers Expectations, Plans 25 Million Unit Sales Posted: 14 May 2015 05:23 AM PDT Solid sales of the ASUS ZenFone and the warm reception of the ZenFone 2 in January led the company to make bold sales predications, with the Taiwanese giant aiming for 30 million smartphone sales in 2015. However, the opening of the year was actually worse than expected and ASUS has been forced to revaluate how many units it will move, although the company still expects to sell a very respectable 25 million smartphones this year.
