Verizon HTC One M7 Gets Android Lollipop Tomorrow Posted: 13 May 2015 10:29 AM PDT HTC has confirmed that that the HTC One M7 running on Verizon's network will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop on May 14th, which is tomorrow! The handset is the original of HTC's current flagship range, a stunning device even today and one that the company promised would get Lollipop way back last year when Google first announced the build at its I/O event. LG Dominates Screen Market with 68% and 90% of Revenue Posted: 13 May 2015 10:19 AM PDT We have discussed before how Sony's camera lens making business is thriving in the mobile space, and in fact is propping up the ailing Xperia brand. Sony is not the only major manufacturer enjoying success beyond its handsets though, with market research firm DisplaySearch saying 68% of all smartphones shipped in the first quarter of 2015 had a LG screen on the front. Verizon and Sprint Fined by FCC for Cramming Posted: 13 May 2015 09:44 AM PDT Verizon and Sprint have settled with the FCC to the tune of $158 million as both companies were fined for cramming charges onto consumers. The biggest (Verizon) and third largest (Sprint) carriers in the United States will split the fine, with Big Red forking out $90 million and Sprint paying the FCC $68 million.
