Posted: 29 May 2015 11:21 AM PDT

Love it or hate it, the OnePlus One (really, who doesn't love it?) was a bona fide bargain, bringing flagship kicks for a fraction of the price, available for $300 at launch. As we told you earlier in the week, OnePlus is planning to unveil the OnePlus Two on June 1st, and while the handset will not launch until later in the year, it seems its arrival next week will make the OnePlus One even more of a bargain.

Android M, the Ultimate Guide

Posted: 28 May 2015 03:38 PM PDT

Google dropped Android M on us at the company?s I/O developer's event today, and while the software will not be released until later in the year, Google was kind enough to give us all a detailed breakdown of what is in store. With Android 5.0 Lollipop only seven months old and feeling pretty darn fresh, we expect Android M to wow us and bring something new to the party. Luckily the software really does that and is a pretty rich overhaul of the system, even if it is unlikely to do Android?s fragmented platform any good in terms of unification.

Earlier this week there were reports that Asus is working on a new smartphone that would be called the ZenFone Selfie and be oriented just how its name suggests. Yes, it would be another smartphone that is looking to piggyback on the selfie trend, which to the rest of us means a solid mid-range handset with a good front facing camera. Here's why Sony is Avoiding Quad HD Screens

Lumia 520 is the most Popular Windows Phone Handset

Posted: 27 May 2015 09:54 AM PDT

Windows Phone isn't really the platform you go to for flagship kicks. Sure, the HTC One M8 for Windows is a fine high end device, as are the Lumia 930 and Lumia 1520 at a push, but for the most part the platform is littered with budget handsets. It is a trend that started when Nokia rejuvenated Windows Phone, and it has continued in earnest since Microsoft bought the Lumia division.
