Sprint makes six new phones compatible with Direct Connect Now push-to-talk app

Since it decommissioned iDEN last year, Sprint has relied on Direct Connect Now as the way for most users to have instant voice communication through push-to-talk (PTT). The carrier today added six new phones to the list of compatible devices, and promised similar capabilities are on the way for three more phones.

HTC One Android 4.4 Kitkat and Sense 5.5 update now available for Sprint

Sprint has become the first of the four major carriers in the United States to release an Android 4.4 KitKat update. It's mostly a behind-the-scenes change with few noticeable changes, but the update adds some subtle Sense 5.5 changes.
