Sony Denies Again that it is not Leaving Smartphone Market

Sony has been rumored to be exiting the smartphone business for the last two years, but the company keeps knocking those reports down. We can't decide whether there is no smoke without fire or whether the reports are unfounded and Sony is really not even considering ditching its Xperia brand. Either way, the Japanese giant has come out and denied once again the latest rumor that said 2016 will be the company's last in the smartphone industry if sales do not pick up.

Up Close with the HTC One A9

Earlier in the year the HTC One A9, which was launched by the Taiwanese company this week, was known as Aero and it was widely billed as HTC's next coming. A device that would reposition the company as a force in the smartphone market, much like the One M7 had two years prior, a hero device. However, as the year wore on it become more apparent that the Aero would probably not live up to those giddy expectations.
