Samsung today unveiled the sequel to one of the biggest smartphones of 2012, literally and figuratively. The Korean manufacturer has debuted the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, a new Android 4.3 device with an S Pen stylus for drawing, note taking, and a lot more.

Sony today added a new Xperia to the list of Android devices that it plans to sell in 2013. At its IFA event in Berlin, Sony confirmed that the Android 4.2-sporting device previously leaked as the "Honami" will soon come to market as the Sony Xperia Z1.

Samsung livestream for Galaxy Note III and Galaxy Gear starts today at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT

The Samsung Galaxy Note III smartphone and the Galaxy Gear smart watch should debut at Samsung's IFA Berlin event in just a few hours. While it's unfortunate that you can't be in Berlin to watch the event in person, you can at least watch the Galaxy Note III livestream online and see what's new.
