Dropbox makes it easier for Android and iOS developers to integrate their apps with Dropbox

Cloud storage and synchronization service Dropbox today announced a new API that developers can use to make their Android and iOS apps better interact with Dropbox. The new Sync API lets apps treat Dropbox as a local file system, cache files that are synchronized to Dropbox, and work offline. Sync API can empower a note taking app to auto-sync changes to Dropbox, and an app can save recent Dropbox files locally to be edited and then re-uploaded when a connection is available. Twitter updates Android and iPhone apps to improve Discover and Search features

Twitter's Android and iPhone apps have had plenty of third-party competition, but the company has updated the official clients for both platforms to improve the experience of finding new people and trends worth following, as well as discovering tweets in an easier fashion.

Not so fast, BlackBerry. Reports cast doubt about early claims of Z10 sales.

BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins excitedly claimed that the BlackBerry Z10 launch was "beyond expectations" and that the white version of the phone was virtually sold out. The only problem with those claims is that they are appear to be inaccurate.

T-Mobile says Nokia Lumia 710 won't get Windows Phone 7.8

Though Nokia announced last week that it has begun its rollout of the Windows Phone 7.8 update, T-Mobile USA has confirmed that the Nokia Lumia 710 won't be receiving the update.

Android 4.1 and 4.2 Jelly Bean gets minor bump in latest Platform Versions Chart

The percentage of Android 4.1 or later devices visiting Google Play has grown slightly in the past month, reaching an all-time high of 13.6 percent. Android 4.1 and 4.2 devices combined to increase the Jelly Bean representation, up from 10.2 percent last month, in Android's Platform Versions chart.

BlackBerry Q10 U.S. carrier testing may delay phone until later this summer

When will the BlackBerry Q 10, the BlackBerry 10 smartphone with a keyboard, debut in the U.S.? That's what everyone attending last week's BB10 unveiling wanted to know, and a clear answer was never provided. Now we know that the wait could be as late as June.
